This brief focused on redefining communication within a chosen community. Students were tasked with identifying a relevant context and developing a physical communication device that responded to the needs of its intended audience, using design trends, principles, form, materials, and digital prototyping to develop the final product.
For this project, I focused on people who own Wi-Fi routers and see them as part of their home environment. The design explored the opportunity to turn an otherwise functional and often visually unattractive device into something that could be intentionally displayed as part of the home.
